In the LTP Test suite (ltp-full-20050608) to test linux
system calls, test program alarm04 executable tests if
the SIGNAL is transfered to the execed process.
According to the manpage of execve [Distro SLES 9]
"Signals Pending in the calling process is cleared". So
alarm04 test features which is not supported in the
latest kernel. So let me know if the test is relevent
with respect to linux kernels 2.6.13 and above

    <krisw@us.ibm.com> reported the following:

In the 20070531 LTP tests alarm04 is being reported as a failure because it is not found. It looks like alarm04 has been removed from
testcases/syscalls/alarm and from the syscalls list in runtest, but it is still listed in the ltplite and stress.part3 lists.

    <subrata@linux.vnet.ibm.com> fixed the same.
