Not strictly a defect for its intended use - i.e. on a linux based system with case-sensitive filesystem. But the distribution of ltp contains two pathnames which differ only in case, making it difficult to unpack them on, say, Mac OSX.

Sorry - I didn't mention which paths. Here's the result of unpacking the file on OS X.

    ltp-full-20070531/testcases/network/nfsv4/locks/deploy/
    ltp-full-20070531/testcases/network/nfsv4/locks/deploy/locktests-2.tar.gz
    ltp-full-20070531/testcases/network/nfsv4/locks/DEPLOY
tar: ltp-full-20070531/testcases/network/nfsv4/locks/DEPLOY: Cannot open: File exists

The problem happens with only this file?

I don't know. That's the one I noticed and cut and pasted.

Ok, I verified here and that's the only file that has this kind of problem.

Subrata, can you change ltp/testcases/network/nfsv4/locks/DEPLOY to another name, so we can fix this problem?

    Thanks
