LTI-Lib is an object oriented computer vision
library written in C++ for Windows/MS-VC++
and Linux/gcc. It provides lots of functionality
to solve mathematical problems, many image
processing algorithms, some classification
tools and much more.

This new release fixes a severe problem with the vector/matrix data
structures which is present in the just released 1.9.14. Please update! It
also includes experimental Mac OS X support contributed by Marco Wilka.

LTI-Lib is an object oriented computer vision

Now an alternative convolution for the LTI-Lib
is available from the file releases. As one of the most important classes in the library this
change can increase your Apps performance
drastically. However, this comes at the price
that only odd sized and geometrically centered separable kernels are accepted.

After last week's tar-ball release we offer again the convenient Windows installer for the latest version of the C++ Computer Vision Library LTI-Lib.

This long awaited release brings quite a few bug fixes and great new features. Some of them are documented in the Changelog, others not *grin*.

This release has been tested against VC++ 6 and .NET 2003 as well as gcc3.3.5, gcc3.4.4, gcc4.0.1-pre and gcc4.1.0-pre.

The Windows Installer for the LTI-Lib simplifies the installation of the LTI-Lib and required libraries like GTK+.

There are at this time again two versions:

1. You will require PERL to use many useful scripts. If you don't have any PERL interpreter, you should download the greater file setup-ltilib-1.9.4-activeperl.exe, which also contains a freeware PERL version.

2. If you already have a PERL interpreter installed, you can download the smaller file setup-ltilib-1.9.4.

The next version of the LTI-Lib (1.9.3) will compile with the Visual C++ .NET 2003. Currently, all files in the repository can be compiled with this compiler, but due to the lack of support for nmake files, the buildLib batch files need to be changed to the new features.

A new version of the LTI-Lib has been released. New features and functors have been added and some bug fixes have been done. Take a look to the change log for more information. The Windows Installer with this version will come in the next days.

The LTI-Lib Computer Vision Library has been developed for Linux/gcc and Windows/MS VC++ as well. The use of other Open Source libraries made its installation on Windows systems somehow difficult. Two installer packages considerably simplify this installation process, by means of providing all other required libraries. Due to the fact that PERL is extensivelly used in the LTI-Lib to generate projects or new classes, one of the two installer packages includes the ActivePerl version.

Some bug fixes and many improvements added to the LTI-Lib. For more

The LTI-Lib now also compiles successfully with the GCC 3.3 compiler. The next release will include all tiny changes (a few new detected bugs and their fixes) required for this task. We now can successfully compile the library with GCC 2.95.3, 3.2 and 3.3.

This version includes much more functors and data structures used in math, image processing and classification problems, as well as many bug fixes.
