Project on Hi-atus

Ok. so everything was going great there for a while and lots of stuff was being added and fixed, but it all stoped. I was studying for my MCP exam, which by the way, i passed! i was getting help from an other developer, geoff, but due to his college stuff, he had to work harder on work then the project, and i fully understand. We are now comming up to christmas and im now studying for a java exam. i wont have time to be doing programming in VB. i have to keep my mind on java. Im hoping to maybe start work again on the project after christmas. We will see though. as of now (well actually last release) this project is on hi-atus (most probably spelt wrong!). Sorry if your looking for new releases, but maybe in 2004!

notes on latest build

the latest build is no where near complete. please note it is aimed at developers. if you do download this, you must register a file before you can use it. go to your command prompt (start - run - cmd.exe under windows XP, 2000 and NT, command.com under windows 98). then find the directory you extracted the files to (in my case c:\cvsroot\lsnosbrowser) and then type in regsvr32 mozctl.dll. this should then pop up saying DllRegisterServer in mozctl.dll succeeded. then your ready to go! please tell me how this works for you. lotas@users.sf.net is the email address. also, report any bugs you find.

BETA 2 Released and Closer to mozilla

Ok. I have been working on the program for a while now and now i have released BETA 2. Im also working on the Mozilla version of the app and im hoping to get it working well soon. There are some problems, and it currently has many bugs. I may release an ALPHA Version. The currnet versions will problably become 0.5 and the full one with mozilla will be 0.6. The copy of mozilla im using is 1.2, i think. not sure. its weird. anyway, ill post more news when i make it! :)

Build 7 out now. New package

Build 7 has been released after some time and now im using Microsoft's Installer (msi) for ease of use and installability. This will register all needed files.

Registering the Files

I forgot to mention this, but the batch file that is included in the .zip file must be run for the software to run properly. It needs this cause it needs to register the files. I also forgot to mention that Build6 is out and I will hopeully be releasing Build7 later tonite. The final BETA1 will probably be out this weekend.

Build 4 out and more tech stuff

Right. As you can see from the project main page, Build 4 is out. Also Im going to start attacking the Web Based tools for this app. If someone out there likes me, maybe they can send me a script to phrase RDF files (xml type files) in VB and display them. Thanks

Im downloading the SP5 at the moment, but when its installed i will tell you as i may mess with a few controls. Anyway, you can download it for free from the CVS, or im hoping to have a build soon.
