Hello. I have something similar in that I can load the Wolf Faust reference file OK but then cannot select the "pick template" as it is blocked out in blue. I have tried several different reference files with the same result. LProf worked fine for me until I had to re-download from Sourceforge and re-install and since then it has never worked properly. I am using a PC running Windows 7-64 SP1 plus updates to present time.
qt3 doesn't support macOS 10.12 at all. It doesn't support any version of OSX newer than 10.4 according to the source code at qt/include/qglobal.h line 189.
