Do you think you could make the script prompt you for a display if one is not currently set. blank can be the default but I would like to run this from thelynx startup and having a place to enter localhost:0.0 for the display would sure be helpful. Otherwise I have to save the script to a file set the display and then run the script. -ben On Fri, Jan 12, 2001 at 04:22:19PM -0800, Nick Moffitt wrote: > alternately, you could use whiptail, though I have not tested it (It > tends to be a bit confusing, and sometimes doesn't meet the dialog > spec.) > > I am considering updating the search order for dialog to be: > > gdialog (if and only if DISPLAY is set) > dialog > whiptail > > > It's currently > > dialog > whiptail > gdialog > > -- > Nick Moffitt, Professional Services > > _______________________________________________ > Lpr-discuss mailing list > Lpr...@li... > http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lpr-discuss |
