I am in deep s..t
this bug says that it is impossible to compile libprintsys 0.6
in a hppa architecture
either this bug is solved, or this package will not be a part of
the next Debian release (which is now quite near)
problem is, I do not know how to solve it

Subject: Bug#142975: libprintsys: FTBFS: includes non-PIC code in shared object (hppa/unstable)

Serious because this is keeping the package out of woody.
Build log at: http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=libprintsys&ver=0.6-2&arch=hppa&stamp=1018471717&file=log&as=raw
Fails to build because of linking non-PIC objects into a shared object, which
violates gcc specs. Either libtdb can't be used, must be included by objects
linking against libprintsys, or libtdb needs to provide a shared library.
