On friday we worked on the release a whole lot and we now are fairly
certain 4 of the 6 distros work very well.
RH6.2, RH7.0, and MDK 7.2 are perfect as far as we can tell. Turbo
6.1 has a minor bug that causes gpr to crash when you make a
conflicting selection and that is it. I didn't consider that release
critical. If we can fix it in time for the release that is fine but it
is such a minor thing and turbo is such a minor distro -- I wasn't
Suse 7.0 installs properly but has one release critical bug that we
are still working on. The init script doesn't work. Other than that it
appears to work.
Suse 6.4 doesn't have a working installer program and we haven't
figured out how to make it work yet. It also has the same problem with
the init script. Other than that I believe it works fine and I think
we tested it but I can't find any reference to that in my notes. Once
we get the initscript and the installer working we will retest it.
One final note: not all the internationalized PPD files have been

we are working on is a script that detects the appropriate distro and
downloads the right installer and runs it.
