En la pagina Early Access: http://loro.sourceforge.net/app/ se han puesto a disposicion los fuentes de todo el sistema, acompanados de archivos build.xml para la herramienta Ant: una para el propio Loro, y otro para la creacion de la distribucion utilizando el nanoInstaller, del cual tambien estan los fuentes. (pendiente mecanismo CVS) Por favor, no demore en contarnos cualquier comentario, observacion, sugerencia o reporte de problema. Gracias ;-) |

Este archivo ha funcionado bien en: - Windows2000pro - Debian Linux i686 2.2.17 usando java 1.2.2, 1.3 y 1.4. Falta desde luego probarlo exhaustivamente en las plataformas mas posibles de uso comun: - Win98 - Win95 (?) - Win NT - RedHat Es importante saber los datos correspondientes de la prueba que no funciona, para asi revisar. No sobra comentar que he encontrado a veces un bug en el Java de Sun relacionado con el manejo de los archivos zip (cuando incluyen nombres de archivos con tildes). Por ejemplo, `jar' aborta pero `unzip' no. Probar esto por favor. Objetivo Definir lo que es un paquete de extension, asi como el mecanismo para su instalacion en el IDE de Loro. Definicion:(*) Un "paquete de extension" es un paquete de unidades Loro y otro codigo asociado (como clases Java de soporte) que un desarrollador puede utilizar para extender la funcionalidad de la plataforma nucleo de Loro. Los paquetes de extension se arman con: - archivos LAR, para agrupar las unidades compiladas .oro. - archivos JAR, para agrupar archivos .class de soporte, si es del caso. Mecanismo: El mecanismo basico para activar un paquete de extension es el siguiente: - Manejo del directorio especial ``loro.dir/lib/ext/'' para este fin. - En dicho directorio se ubican los archivos LAR y JAR que conforman el paquete. - Se reinicia el IDE de Loro. - Como parte de la inicializacion del IDE, el sistema hace lo siguiente: - pone todos los archivos LAR encontrados en ``loro.dir/lib/ext/'' en la ruta de busqueda de unidades compiladas. - Crea un ClassLoader con todos los archivos JAR encontrados en ``loro.dir/lib/ext/'' - En la ejecucion de algun algoritmo implementado en Java, el sistema usa el ClassLoader mencionado para resolver la clase que implementa el algoritmo. Estado actual: Se tiene casi lista la implementacion de lo aqui referido. Visitando: http://loro.sourceforge.net/app/ se puede ensayar el nuevo mecanismo de instalacion de loro: instalar-loroI-052.jar es el nuevo ejecutable para la instalacion: java -jar instalar-loroI-052.jar Este instalador crea e inicializa el archivo user.home/.loro.conf (user.home/_loro.conf en win32) poniendo la propiedad 'loro.dir' para indicar el directorio en donde se ha hecho la instalacion. La aplicacion como tal es ahora 'loro.dir/bin/loro.jar' que se ha puesto como ejecutable: Main-class: loro.IDESimple (notese que estoy dando preferencia en este momento al IDE; mas adelante mirare lo de las otras herramientas.) La aplicacion YA lee las propiedades del archivo de configuracion .loro.conf pero falta complementarse. Estoy ahora pensando como manejar el asunto de las librerias de extension, o sea, los .lar opcionales. Pienso que podria destinarse( al estilo de Java) un directorio como loro.dir/lib/ext/ para ponerlos alli. Pero ademas seria quiza conveniente tambien automatizar la carga de las clases Java de soporte para dichas extensiones, por ejemplo, asumiendo que cualquier .jar encontrado en loro.dir/lib/ext/ debe considerarse como conteniendo las clases de soporte correspondientes. ESTOY EN ESTO AHORA: CUALQUIER SUGERENCIA ES BIENVENIDA. Quedo atento tambien a las observaciones que hayan con respecto a utilizar lo que se tiene en varias plataformas: principalmente windows(98,2000,nt), pero tambien linux(redhat,caldera,debian,etc), y unix(solaris,etc).
