#1 Installing on Snow Leopard

Hi, after reading about your program Loris, I'm really interested in trying it out. First of all, I'm not a programmer and maybe that is my problem. But I read through the install documentation and can't really figure out how this works. I downloaded and installed the Xcode developer tools and then I ran the config file as you explained in the documentation. It seemed to do it's thing but when it was finished I didn't know what to do after that. Would you be able to provide a non programmer details on the best way to run your program in OSX? Thanks.

Loris is a library for sound analysis, synthesis, and morphing. Loris includes a C++ class library, Python module, C-linkable interface, command line utilities, and documentation. Loris does not include any kind of user interface. Limited functionality is accessible through the command line utilities, but most functionality requires that you use one of the APIs, Python being by far the easiest.

If you requires a GUI, you should check out Michael Klingbeil's program called SPEAR, which implements a similar kind of analysis, and even reads and (I believe) writes Loris data files. I don't know whether it does morphing though.
