[Loopdub-devel] loopdub-0.3 released

Hi,

This is to announce that version 0.3 of LoopDub has been released on
sourceforge.
Head over to http://loopdub.sf.net to pick it up.

This release introduces few new features, but encompasses mostly
infrastructural changes that will affect future development.
For instance,

* change to git for managing the versioned code
* change to RtAudio and RtMidi for cross-platform audio and midi
back-end support
* change to SCons for building and code configuration

A lot of these changes have been sitting in the subversion repository
for ever, so rather than keep waiting for some features I thought it
best to just do a release, since I've occasionally gotten email about
compiling version 0.2 which I'm no longer developing.

Hopefully this will open up the way to more development on LoopDub,
such as better MIDI support and incorporation of the OSC protocol.

Some small features have been introduced:

* "Loop Folder" button to allow navigating outside the
initially-selected loop folder.
* Display the "button mode" i.e., visual feedback for what will happen
when a track button is pushed
* Programs can be loaded by typing their number on the computer
keyboard instead of only from MIDI program-change message.
