The software we are using generates log files for each day with the date in its file name, e.g. "log_2008-11-06.txt". To ease the viewing of these log files it also updates an link file to the newest generated log file, e.g. "log.txt.lnk" -> "log_2008-11-06.txt". The next day it would update it to "log.txt.lnk" -> "log_2008-11-07.txt".

It would be great if one could direct logview4net to the link file and the FileListener would follow the changing destination.

Without this feature one has always to change the settings of the session to the current file.

It would be already a great help if logview4net would do this only once at startup of the session from saved settings.

Using the FolderListener will get the job done.
