Almost anything is possible. Are you doing this over WiFi or the mobile network? (Sometimes public WiFi hotspots do weird things with port blocking. Not sure about the mobile network.) If you are on a GSM-based network (e.g. AT&T and T-Mobile, in the US), you need to make sure the APN setting is correct on your phone (more details in the FAQ on the website). Also, every once in a while, I've seen devices that simply act up and refuse to connect for unknown reasons. Sometimes, a simple battery pull may clear it up. It is sometimes also interesting to enable logging on the device (some details on the "Debugging" page on the Wiki) to see what is actually happening. Google for info on the BlackBerry Event Logger for more details. (Typically, the logger items named "LogicMail", and anything starting with "net.rim.tcp" should be enabled to get the most useful info.) -Derek On Thu, 23 Jun 2011 19:03 +0200, "Phil Atkinson" <atk...@gm...> wrote: > Hi - I am trying to set up mobile me email and believe I have all of the > setting correct, but every time I try contest the connection it fails.
