There were some issues with reopening a failed connection, which I fixed in 2.0.0.258. (I just linked that to the OTA page last night.) There are still some issues with keeping an IMAP connection open for a long period of time, since the IMAP IDLE handling currently does not work very well. (Issues with how I'm polling the socket, and what server replies I'm handling.) I'm actively working on fixing that, but its a lot of work, so it isn't finished yet. However, LogicMail 2.0 is not currently designed to stay running in the background for a long period of time. There are a lot of little things I need to do before that is a usable and reliable option.
