I am setting up LogicMail on a BB8700 after failing to get access to the email server at my hosted website using the BIS setup. The account in question is accessible via desktop clients like Thunderbird and Outlook, so I'm mystified as to why BIS hasn't worked, but have given up on that and started hoping LogicMail will do the trick. My point here is that I'm not entirely sure what usernames, passwords and server addresses I should be putting into the respective Identity, Account, and Server settings. It would be great if the settings I use in T-bird were directly copyable to LogicMail. But they aren't, so I'm wondering how to go about testing the variables. Ideally there'd be some way of issuing a test command for each layer of configuration. In the absence of such a thing, is there some other way I can test the settings without having to try the config 12 times? David |
