Hi, i would like to know where is the data, especially the login data stored. Thing is, I updates from 1.9.1.191, which worked almost perfect, to 1.9.1.200 which didn't wok at all. My problem is I updated every single version and it seems, if I want to make a fresh installation, login data is already there. My Question is now, where is are the folders created by logicmail and how can I delete them entirely? I used Filescout until now to delete obvious logicmail related folders. Hoping for help. Ian |

What's the issue you"re having with .200 Ian? I upgraded from .191 (worked great) to .200 and then .201 and in both of those I get an "unknown error" occur whenever I try to access a folder. It happens just after the program says it is getting the list of messages. I haven't filed a bug, or traced the log, or tried .202 largely because I haven't got round to it yet. Would be interested to know if I'm having the same issue as you (or anyone else), given my last working version was the same. A shame because it is a really really brilliant program! Pradeep . Issue is, as far as I can tell is also the "unknown error". Refreshing folders works and its prompting me new messages. But when I want to go into those folders with prompted new messages I get the "unknown error". Complete uninstall, deleting all "logicmail"-named folders with filescout and new install of logicmail 1.9.1.202 just brought me to the same issue. The "fresh" installation started with the old settings. I suspect, there are the settings. In order to that e assume there has to be a folder with "old" settings. Hope also somebody can help.If you need any specifications please notify. Try build .202 I ran into the "Unknown error" issue myself yesterday, and fixed it last night. Hi Derek. I installed build 202 but still got the same problem. I just checked the timeline for "my problem" and how you fixed that. Maybe you could give me a hint. Hi Derek, maybe you as the main developer could tell me how I can delete all folders and files to start with a fresh install. I suspect there are some files left as there are still the settings left if i delete and reinstall. If you delete and reinstall the app, or even just delete and re-create your accounts, you will be working off of fresh configuration settings within the app. All these settings are stored in a part of device memory that's not really user-accessible. The only thing that's stored in files you can delete, is the contents of local folders and message cache data. That data can be stored in "Device Memory" (only on certain devices that have a writable filesystem on-board) or the "Media Card" (i.e SDCard). There is a configuration option to select which one is in use. If using "Device Memory", I put the files here: [Device Memory] /home/user/logicmail/ If using "Media Card", I put the files here: [SDCard] /BlackBerry/logicmail/ P.S. If you're just concerned about the folder tree getting messed up, simply deleting and recreating the account should completely reset that. -- ---------------------------- Derek Konigsberg dko...@lo... ---------------------------- |
