[Logicmail-users] Logicmail and wifi

Hi. I can only get logicmail to connect over wifi and not 3G. 

Is this normal?

Check your Configuration settings:
1. Configuration-SMTP Servers-Auto
2. Below Auto select 'Use WiFi if Available'

This shoud fix it for you .... works for mE.

Using the beta version, I sometimes notice such problem when I switch
LogicMail first connects using wifi, then when I switch off wifi and
that only 3G remains. I sometimes noticed some issues w/ 3G directly
(EDGE: fine). In both cases, rebooting the device fixed it, sometimes
only waiting was necessary, I presume that it's about timeouting the
currently open connections?

Anyway, make sure that all incoming and sending configs have both "Auto" and
"Use wifi..", as suggested by Bruce.

One other possibility: Could your local network have different IPs for 
the same hostname using a split DNS configuration?

If so, roaming in and out of your corporate network will always be 
problematic, although if the BlackBerry and Logicmail honours TTLs 
properly, setting a low TTL will work around the problem.
