Ok Ardeshir, let me unbderstand the problem.

When you try to import a zip created in a MAC system you experiment 
exceptions ad are not able to access documents, is this correct?
You think that the problem is the presence of files named .DS_Store and 
that this is the reason of the crash?
We do not have tried to import hidden files before, and have no 
experiences with MAC.
Can you tell me if the problem exists on all files with a '.' prefix?
