Dear developers, I have just tracked down a strange phenomenon we have been facing since couple of months. problem raised every time we tried to import ZIP folders into LogocalDoc. after importing, the system would throw the 'fatal error' message and needed a re-login once we clicked on the newly imported folder. in some cases though, we couldn't even do a re-login because the system would throw the fatal error already when we wanted to access the login page. It cost us load of time and labour every time we crashed like that since we had to often reinstall the system the lay the documents again in the system. After lot of investigations I found out the folders which are zipped under MAC OS seemed to be the pain in the neck. I spotted that MAC makes some hidden files (eg. .DS_Strore) when you make a zip folder. These hidden files get imported along with the other files into LogicalDoc and the consequence of that is the fatal error and eventually crashing the system. LogicalDOc does not like those funny files. Has anyone else experienced that? What do we do against it? good day gentlemen. Ardeshir |
