However, given a slow but easy library and a faster one that is more difficult to use, I will tend to use the first, because: 1) my time resources and skills are very limited 2) LD is still in the phase of feasibility study, I am doing some kind of exploratory development. I still don't know if it is technically possible (given my skills) to do many things: integrate web browsing, ftp, panel applets, reading/using MIME types, detecting devices, passing the detected devices to programs. After we know whether those things can be done or not, if we have enough manpower, we can ask ourselves how efficiently they can be done, and redesign/rewrite the software. Mau |
