Hi all, > The reason is that I plan to use kio and khtml, and I assumed it > isn't possible in a non-kde app. Or is it? I don't know if it's possible to propose such features given by kio or khtml without them but I think it would be fantastic to propose an application which could be easily used on old computers. KDE integration is a very good thing for features/integration but a bad one for lightness. I think it's important in a Free Software (FS) attitude to consider this point of view. If we want to make a little for a big change in the world, we have to take into account people/country who don't have last generation computers. The power of FS is to give to those people the opportunity to use/modifie/distribute last generation software : what a big change, isn't it???!!!!!! Do you think it would be possible to integrate this constraint into the way of building/creating Logical Desktop? How? By making two branches? By structuring the code differently?=20 What do you think?
