I am using logd_tk with DayofDefeat mod..
IT works fine.. but I cannot get the slap sound
'sound/weapons/cbar_hitbod1.wav'
to play when users who tk are admin_slapped.
It says sv_startsound cbar_hitbod1.wav not precached..
I have added those sounds to a dod_omaha.res
file.. but these sounds are in a pak0.pak
file in valve dir.. and will not re-download or play
on anyones system.. i guess because they
are already included in the valve pak.
I even put extracted those 3 hitbod wavs are put them
in sound/weapons dir of DOD.. but they still wont play on anyones pc..
I assume this was writting to be used with tfc and will not work in dod..
anyone know where the sounds for admin_slap are located? it doesnt say anything in the .sma file for retribution as to what sounds it uses..
thanks
cejay
