What I'm thinking about implementing (And please tell me if it isn't a good idea). Is a listener to some of the Log4J implementations. The most interesting one seems to be socket or telnet. In which you take your tora, enter the host and your filtering and it will starting showing the log pretty much like the SQL Output window? The advantage being not needing to constantly poll a table which could probably prove tiresome for the server if a lot of clients are doing it. I still haven't installed the Log4PL/SQL package yet though. /Mauritz Underscore AB MOULARD Guillaume OCISI wrote: >Mauritz, > >Yes, it is very good for LOGPLSQL if you add this template to TOra. > >If you whant read a log inside TOra you have 2 way. > >1. the most easy, it is by a reading a log table (see:vlog.sql). > >2. it is possible to use all LOG4J capability, for the dynamique > parameters (Loggers, Appenders and Layouts) > > >--g > > >-----Message d'origine----- >De : log...@li... >[mailto:log...@li...] >Envoye : lundi 29 juillet 2002 10:43 >A : MOULARD Guillaume >Cc : tor...@li...; >Log...@li... >Objet : Re: [Tora-develop] [Log4plsql] LOG4PLSQ - TOra integration > > >This looks interesting.
