[log4perl-devel] Test cases under perl 5.005_03

Hi,

Working with Log::Log4perl version 0.42, I found a couple of small 
problems in test cases running under perl 5.005_03.

Patches that fix these nits are attached. Both patches have been tested 
under a new perl (5.8.2), and work fine here as well.

I should mention, that I maintain the port of Log::Log4perl in the 
FreeBSD ports tree. As such I have a vested interest in keeping the 
module working under 5.005_03 as far as it goes. Perl 5.005_03 is still 
the version distributed with stock FreeBSD 4.x (don't ask - I'm not 
especially fond of it either).
