Yeah, I seem to recall that thread now that you mention it. I didn't
understand the reason for the discussion at the time but it sure makes
sense now! Ain't perspective grand?!

How's the Logger Repository issue different from the init_once function
which you have already incanted into 0.42? Seems like they are
addressing the same issue of having calling init multiple times. I guess
the Logger Repository is a bit broader, but I don't have all the
background.
