If you want it to WORK, use "recreate_check_signal", NOT "recreate_signal".
Unfortunately, it looks like there is a disagreement between the code
and documentation in Appender::File and the FAQ page. File.pm says
"recreate_signal" in the POD and in new(), but the CODE uses
"recreate_check_signal".
