[log4perl-devel] dynamically changing the loglevel

Hi all,

I'm using Log4Perl for quite a while now but I have one problem:
I like the idea of separating the log configuration from the source
code (separate file). But the user may say "programm --verbose" or
something similar and expects that the loglevel will go up (logging
more).

Is there a way changing to the loglevel from its defaults in the file
(INFO) to DEBUG?

Yes, there is. Here's a description on how to increase/decrease log 
levels based on command line options:
