I have recently moved the non-stable development to the trunk, please use
it instead of the 1.1 branch.

I do not remember exactly what state is 1.1 branch in but trunk does
compile socket-unix.cxx too. However it is effectively empty file because
its contents is protected by #if defined (LOG4CPLUS_USE_BSD_SOCKETS)/#endif
which is undefined for MinGW. Unless of course there is a bug, I have not
tested MinGW builds recently.
