IANAL but I think that all that your documentation and/or about box
needs to say is in the item 3 in the log4j license: "This product
includes software developed by the Apache Software Foundation
(http://www.apache.org/)."
Just FYI, the licensing for 1.0.4 is changing to Apache Software License
2.0, for most parts.
