The AMI was on a personal account, so it is no longer available.

We are meeting next week for the National Digital Newspaper Program, and I hope to get some software updates.  The University of Oregon is willing to supply and maintain an AMI for the LC Newspaper Viewer.  We are just waiting to make sure we have the latest version.

We’re also willing to help if you have any questions during install.

Best,

Karen

Stephanie,

I asked this awhile back. The last I heard it is not. They took it down awhile ago. I recently got the system up and running on a virtual ubuntu machine on amazon aws so let me know if you have any questions.

Subject: [Loc-ndnp-mail] Chronicling America EC2 AMI?

Hello,

I'm sorry if this question has been addressed somewhere--I searched the list but didn't find anything.  Is the Amazon EC2 machine image still available? I followed the directions on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/loc-ndnp/wiki/ec2) but I can't turn up ami-4671812f in the instance list.

Thanks,
