Had Calsync 1.0.0 running fine under LN 6.?. It sniffed out all my LN account info automatically. Now my company has migrated to LN 8.5 and I can't log in. I've downloaded Calsync 1.7 but still no go.

If I leave server and filenames blank… no luck

If I populate with what I think is the correct info to access my local replication of my mail file

Can you give 1.6 a try with the same setting you tried for 1.7?

Can you try to re-register the nlsxbe.dll? It should be in the same folder that Lotus Notes is installed in.  Post back here if you are unclear on how to re-register the dll or can't find it.

It's working now. This is what I did….
Learned how to re-register. The direct command method did not work for me… I couldn't find any examples of syntax for path AND file name using the "run" line, but I did find a neat method using the "send to" functionality of windows. Finally got the dll you mentioned re-registered.

Didn't work after just re-registering the dll, so I tried the old reboot.

After rebooting but before launching the program, I also deleted the "CalSync.settings" file, then launched CalSync (Lotus Notes was not yet running). I certainly don't know if deleting this file was necessary for success, but it seemed like a good way to start with a clean slate.

It all worked like a charm.

    Thanks for your help
    -Lauren

    Dear all,

My company has migrated to LN 8.5 and I am having the same problem, however I could not register this dll. When I tried I get the following error message:

    DLLRegisterServer in C:\Lotus\Notes\nlsxbe.dll failed.
    Return code was: 0x80029c4a

    I am running Windows XP 32bits SP2.

    Any idea?
