How can I find them ? There are the names of strings to be translated. If I cannot find them in "national" LNC file then I search original "thebat.lnc" file and add them manually to translation. Personally I use TextPad editor to process text files. If I see a menu item which is not translated then I try to search the appropriate phrase in the original, copy whole line containing string name (if exists) to my translation and then translate menu text. Probably the original English strings are present in your translation as well if you use Language Compiler as a tool for translation. If so, you should search string names mentioned in my message in your translation. Here is a piece of "thebat.lnc" file with strings you missed: MenuItem mSecurity 'Message Security' MenuItem msVerifySignature '&Verify Signature' MenuItem msDecrypt '&Decrypt' MenuItem msImportKey '&Import Key/Certificate' Probably the same strings names are also in your translation. The structure of language resource file is very simply. It contains form names, for example FORM MailerForm 'The Bat!'. Between FORM and ENDFORM declaration there are types and names of objects located in this form, as MenuItem above. All these structures can be easily seen in text editor. -- Best regards, Zygmunt Wereszczynski (Using The Bat! v2.03 Beta/25 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2222 A) |
