  What about Alt+C and Alt+S to avoid collisions with Copy (Ctrl+C).

  I'm using Ctrl+C to copy text and Ctrl+V to paste text rather than
  Ctrl+Ins and Shift+Ins. The Ins key is much futher that "C" key.
