For   me:   no   CAT  Tool,  the  translation  mishap risk is too high
(sometime  I  use  google  translation to check if what I undestand is
right).  And I don't see how the tools will make the diffrence between
the displayed strings and the id strings.

I  suggest  you  to  use Notepad++ to edit the files (text editor with
multiple file edition)

And you can use the Microsoft's guideline, as Maxim asked for:
