Hi all, hi Werner, as I am keeping trying to get a good sysex editor I have some issues I wish to discuss (head branch svn). 1) First about part list edit. I noticed that the time is relative to the part, so when I move the part on the arranger, the column time remains unchanged. Is it right? Does the tick column and the time column are intended to be both absolute to song or relative to the part? 2) For the the moment there is 5 columns, tick, time, type, A, B. We can have in addition C, Length and Data. C for the velocity of note off (?), Length for the length of sysex (and can be used for a note). I though to add those three columns to the QTree, is it ok that way? 3) About the track controllers (automation). I noticed that in pianoroll the controllers displayed below when editing a part are in fact track controllers (apart from velocity). I thought first that it is great, because it solves the problem of possible conflicts between part controllers and track controllers. Then I realised that it is not so good because the user may like to have conrollers wrapped in part, for instance to be able to move the controller when moving the part. So I don't really have answer for this issue. Maybe the way could be to allow to edit both part and track controllers in the pianoroll and solving the conflict by taking the mean of the part and track value given by the two controllers. Another way could be to give facilities to move the track controllers when moving the part.
