Would it be possible to get a button to refresh all midi instrument data sent? Let me explain my issue. I use an external midi keyboard (Yamaha Mo6) for most midi stuff. If I neglect to turn it on and have it set correctly (pattern/song mode) before opening something in muse it doesn't get the correct sounds. So I assume that muse is sending instrument data when a file is first opened, but not again unless a patch change happens. To fix this have to go to each track and re-select the instruments, but i really just increment, then decrement the h-bank once to get the right instrument selected. I also know that I can embed the patch changes into the track, but avoid doing that also. I noticed the two items on the midi menu "reset instr" and "init instr", which by their name sounds like what I want to do, but they have no effect. So there are several ways to address this, several of which I can do. Maybe some type of refresh button somewhere to re-send initial patches might be nice. Thanks, Geoff |
