Hi guys, Thought I would share a screenshot of the dark theme I just added to MusE. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7739312/darkmuse.png Everything is not consistent yet, expect some tweaks. It's a combination of the already available color settings in muse and a stylesheet with some extra settings. I think it should be considered a starting point for individual needs. Regards, Robert |

Hi folks, Hi Robert, this looks pretty cool, a bit ardour-ish, right? Thumbs up :) What i however don't like is the poor contrast in these themes (i have the same problem with ardour) i'd really love to see a high-contrast theme, i.e. the text in more light white, and possibly even darker background (though i think, brighter foreground would be enough) greetings flo |

Perfect! I want one! I would find it great if the theme was ardour-like, as ardour is the center of everything in my workflow, so i have my gtk theme adjusted to ardour too. Keep up the good work and share! :) 2013/2/14 Florian Jung <flo...@we...> > Hi folks, Hi Robert, > > this looks pretty cool, a bit ardour-ish, right? Dark Fader says... "MusE, I am your father!" Nice work. New clothes lookin' sharp. "Who's your Tailor then?". See? I told you we could have a choice of stylesheets and Qt themes :) You might find a couple of challenging places in there, because I think they tried to deliberately circumvent stylesheets, because with a sheet set, some colours and stuff weren't right. --- So I noticed two new part colours #17 and #18 were added. Perhaps accidentally? They have no names in the config file, so I get: configuration: unknown tag <partColor18> at line 114 configuration: unknown tag <partColorName18> at line 133 Thanks. Tim. |

I'd be happy if people trying this theme would point out if there are any colors that are not changeable or too different. Someone requested an ardour theme, might fix that this weekend if time allows. > --- > So I noticed two new part colours #17 and #18 were added. > Perhaps accidentally? Hi Florian, Forgot to comment about this. 2013/2/14 Florian Jung <flo...@we...>: > Hi folks, Hi Robert, > > this looks pretty cool, a bit ardour-ish, right? I believe the dark, low contrast, themes (apart from looking cool) came from a need to use sequencers in dark environments. Musicians like darkness ;) High contrast would then hurt the eyes. > i'd really love to see a high-contrast theme, i.e. the text in more > light white, and possibly even darker background (though i think, > brighter foreground would be enough) I'm getting the hang of creating themes so I might try to do one. Yes, thats exactly the reason I love dark themes too! When working in the evening/night, having a bright theme would burn a hole in my head. 2013/2/27 Robert Jonsson <spa...@gm...> > Hi Florian, > > Forgot to comment about this. > > 2013/2/14 Florian Jung <flo...@we...>: > > Hi folks, Hi Robert, > > > > this looks pretty cool, a bit ardour-ish, right?
