Still ironing out a few things. Seeking etc.
But I will guarantee this:
External midi sync is now rock solid.
Drift has been essentially eliminated.
** Please see the ChangeLog for a detailed explanation of what was done.
If you have trouble, remember to check that MusE's 'division' setting
is at standard 384, although my fixes should support any setting,
but have not yet been tested with other settings.
I'm not done yet. Will try to fix things like not seeking when started
externally (a complaint heard here).
But this is a good first step. It seems to be working well so far,
with complex stress tests.
These changes mean I may be able to add support for syncing to
Jack's timebase position ! Yep, that's currently NOT done by MusE.
