Hi, I presume it's Ok to ask how to use MusE from a
naive users point of view.. well this is a users list
so I presume so.
I just got MusE to work with Timidity on a 2.6.* kernel
with inbuilt modules and created a simple 4bar piece as
a test and it loops fine with no glitches about 70% of
the time, good enough. Now I want to save it out as a
SMF MIDI file so I can run it thru timidity outside of
MusE to create a wav file on the way to creating an ogg.
The MIDI file has the wrong instruments and tempo compared
to the MusE version so I guess I have to add controller
events to the beginning of the piece using list view...
however it expects me to know what controller events to
use and after an hour of googling and reading online
manuals for fancy windows software I've come to a grinding
halt and need help.
Could anyone familiar with this guide me thru adding the
correct program and tempo changes using the list editor
Or, is there an easier (?) way to capture the output directly
to wav via jack or dmix ?
Also, is a QT3 interface in the works at all ?
