AFAIR it depends on the instrument definition file which has been chosen for the track. Adding controllers to the instrument definition (XML, you can easily do so by editing it in a text editor) will offer them in the controller panel. Hey, It works! But now this instrument definition thing brings up a coupple more questions: 1. When i choose "add a controller" in the piano roll view, the drawing area is grayed out. I was expectiong it to work like note-on velocity, but the tools do nothing. I noticed that with the included GM definintion file, adding a controller produces the same results. why is it grayed out or how do i draw? 2. Is there a way to defile draw-able controllers that send sysex messages? my Juno-106 uses 6 byte sysex messages for all of it's sliders. |

From the manual, found at http://www.muse-sequencer.org/wiki/index.php/Window_Reference_Guide#The_Pianoroll_Editor "The controller editor: To create new controller events when there aren't any existing controller events already entered can be a little counter-intuitive if you're not used to it. This is done by either selecting the pen tool and holding down the shift key while left-clicking in the controller pane, or using the line tool when left-clicking with the shift key pressed. If you only want to edit already existing controller values, just left click using the pen or line tool. This only changes already existing controller values without creating new controller events...." > 2.
