Bugs item #1182660, was opened at 2005-04-13 18:45 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=604222&aid=1182660&group_id=93414 Category: Midi Group: 0.7.x Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: MIDI plays too fast when dummy audio driver used Initial Comment: When Muse 0.7.1 is started with the dummy audio driver, as in muse -a it seems whatever is used as a reference timer runs too fast - MIDI is played *way* too quickly. When run without the "-a" the tempos are all as expected. To give some idea of how fast we're talking about, a song set at a tempo of 115 bpm plays back at around 180 bpm when using the dummy audio driver, but plays back correctly at 115 bpm when the full audio driver is in use. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=604222&aid=1182660&group_id=93414 |

As intigator of this bug report (and from my point of view) this bug report can be closed. As per discussions on the list I still have to add some code to the dummy audio driver to ensure that its idea of the timer frequency is correct, but this should be much easier with the modified timer patches I sent in a few days ago. However, this is a separate issue to that dealt with in this bug report. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Jonsson (spamatica) Date: 2005-08-16 12:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=81832 This is fixed now, yes? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Jonsson (spamatica) Date: 2005-05-11 11:27 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=81832 Changed for 0.7.2pre1 but still not right.
