i intend to include the widgets i created for my synth's GUI in MusE as
well; both for this and for developing my GUI, i'd like them to be
usable by qt designer...
but i don't quite understand how to make them designer plugins...
i have currently written foo.cpp and foo.h which implement some Foo
widget which works pretty well.
what do i need to make it show up in designer? and what do i need to use
it in my program?
first of all: do i need two copies of the source, one with a project
file suitable for designer plugin generaton and one suitable for my GUI
(of course, with the other GUI files as well)? (i'm using qmake, btw)
or would i do that somehow inside my GUI project? *confused*
(btw, currently my widgets are: one envelope-editor (similar to the one
in DeicsOnze, but with cleaner code ;) ), one "slider/spinbox" and
"QDial/spinbox" combination (both are one widget, because both are
QAbstractSliders ;) ), one "pitch select" widget group consisting of a
integer-spinbox for the interval in semitones, one QDial for detune
(which is circular; clicking it and doing multiple circles will
constantly increase/decrease the pitch; it will not "jump" from 1.0 to
0.0 or vice versa), and one double-spinbox which combines pitch and
detune. i will write another widget group which provides a ComboBox for
waveform selection (with nice graphics for the waveform, hopefully) and
a ratio-dial/spinbox editor (for PWM (high-to-low-ratio) and sawtooth
maybe we can use some of them in muse as well :)
but i really need to figure out how to put them into designer ;) hope
you can help me there
