Great news with the softsynths!
Naturally, I had to make a few tests with fluidsynth, since I haven't managed
to load fonts with it lately. Changes are:
- Possible to load soundfonts again (no storage yet)
- Errors from the synth can be displayed in the gui (popup-window)
- Indentation cleanup (I've actually come to like the muse coding standard...)
Still, a lot of things are unfortunately not working yet....
Decided to take a quick break from the shortcuts to figure out what's been
going on with that fluidsynth/sysex handling etc.
The gui crashed almost instantly when launching it. Found what I think is a
bug, perhaps it's a feature (if handled correctly)? The first sysex that's
sent to the gui has length 0 which causes the sysexMsg-array to not be
initialized in the dataInput function -->> gui crashes. I cannot find that
the synth is actually sending this particular msg. Is this something that is
sent to make the gui know that it should initialize/do stuff?
