, but I tried again after doing it and the problem persists. I believe identically:

mkdir: no se puede crear el directorio «build»: El archivo ya existe
nan@parnaso:~/progs/progs ubuntu/muse-2.0beta2$ cd build
nan@parnaso:~/progs/progs ubuntu/muse-2.0beta2/build$ cmake ../

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:146 (message):

Right!
MusE1.x has Qt3, which means the apt-get command installed the old qt
Install also libqt4-dev and it should proceed.
As I tell Guy and Florian I am thinking about changing my distro migrating to a more sound specific one so it improves performance and stops giving me this problems, so I am not sure that I will continue trying to install the latest version in xubuntu. Till now I haven't had serious problems with xubuntu but I realize that it might not be the proper distro for audio. Although I am not a professional audio user it is quite annoying to see that problems show up in every sound program I use.
What would you Robert (or Florian or Guy) do? would it be better to improve xubuntu? ...It will always have a not RT kernell :S

And please continue the discussion here, this mailinglist is not busy and we sure like to help when we can.
Thank you a lot. I really appreciate your help and your interest.

Regards,
Robert
