Sometimes audio parts get "lost"(they no longer make
any sound though you can still see them) after creating a
copy (w/ shift drag), they start to work after you delete
them and chose "undo".

    I'm guessing this has to do with the same issues as #1096835 (part
    cloning, reference count etc).

    Actually it seems not related to reference count. The
    count stays the same.
    Nudging the part enables it again, very odd.

    Very old bug with uncertain validity.
    Setting to pending... will auto close in some weeks if there's no further activity

    Sorry for this very late update here, but a fix was added last year.
    I consider this bug fixed now. If you still have problems, please let me know.
    From ChangeLog 30.04.2008:
    * Fixed mysterious intermittent wave part muting, as mentioned in 11.03.2008 (T356)
    - !!! PartList and EventList are now sorted by frame instead of tick, for wave parts only.
    Because fetchData() didn't like sorting by ticks.
