#204 unable to start MusE

Hi,
MusE 1.1 (downloaded tar), Opensuse 11.3, no RT kernel, jack is running.

when i start MusE i get the following output:

    ok..I have found it by myself..ned to load rtc kernel module and run MusE as root..

    Will this change one day ?

    Hi,

    This is likely a minor bug.
    Though, as MusE is not very usable when running without realtime I would prefer if you got realtime support working properly.
    I see that you got it running as root.
    The solution is however to get realtime support without root.

    As for RTC, muse needs a timer source and can use either RTC, alsa-timer or system timer.
    Best is however RTC so if you get it running with that it sounds good.
