Hi,
I've never submitted a bug, but I didn't find any other place to report.....so please redirect me if I'm in the wrong list etc....hope this is any useful.

I just wanted to report some experience with muse 2.0 rev 347. Left aside sporadic crashes. Here are three issues.

1) Intrument Editor
When new instrument is chosen, definition of a new patch does NOT work:
- Program/Bank numbers are not saved in memory (type or conversion issue?)
Save instrument reports: QString::arg: Argument missing: mode="%d", 96

2) Arranger/Mixer/Midi: two tracks with same name

This is surely not happening often:
When two MIDI Tracks happen to have the same name, the second in the list will not be re-connected to its assigned output on re-opening a project.

3) Midi Program Change: not executed except on explicit change
The Program change associated with an instrument is not sent neither on project open not on rewind. It is only sent by explicit change in TrackInfo.

4) The QT4 (qt4.3 here) interface is very slow compared with QT3 in muse, but very stable.

    Some Complements
    5) Interface seems to be slow mainly when the number of parts is high so is only drawing parts slow?
    6) On "Transport stop", internal plugins do not seem to receive "Note off's". External MIDI devices and external softsynths corectly stop playing.
    7) The locale settings are not correctly interpreted. In the "Define shortcuts" GUI, keyboard strokes are correctly interpreted, but not in arranger or Piano Roll editor.
    8) Defined keyboard shortcuts are not saved neither in the preferences nor with the project.

This is the right way, thanks for the report. Things are slow though so it might be a while before its adressed.
    ps.
If you want to discuss any issues the mailing lists are probably a better forum.
    ds.

Unfortunately muse 2.0 is not under active development at the moment :(
