Hi,

i tested muse 0.8.1 for a buddy today and tried to play
around with his .med file. Sadly it seems scrolling
vertically up and down messes up the muse display as
can be seen from the attached screenshot. Clicking
somewhere seems to cause a redraw which fixes the
display until vertical scrolling is again used.

The one thing that comes to my mind about my system
that might confuse apps is that i have backing store
enabled [an X extension to have apps render into a
buffer instead of directly to the screen].

Looking again at the screenshot I realize that the
graphical error I notice is nowhere near as bad as the
    screnshot.
What graphics driver are you using?

Thanks for looking into this. I use the nvidia binary only
driver. Will test with the X11 nv driver soon. BTW: just for
the record [we talked about it in irc already]: The problem
does not depend on the backing store option.

    Ok.
My system has qt 3.3.4 and I'm using the latest nvidia
drivers. As I said, I get some graphic artifacts, but only
on gray tracks (audio in/out/group) all other drawing is
    perfectly stable.

No other reports of this kind and unable to reproduce
apart from minor redrawing errors that do not affect
    usability.
Will have to assume it was some dependency beyond our
    control.
Setting to pending, will auto close in a while unless any
    further activity is done.
