Just published 47 chord loop samples for the "G blues with leading tone" scale <http://ccmixter.org/files/nickleus/41311> using the VST plugin "DSK Strings"' "Cello Section M" setting in LMMS. ..If anyone would like to use them :) -- Check out my music and let me know if you like any of it: https://soundcloud.com/nickleus |

Thanks Nick. What are the main benefits in using your sample pack rather than using the VST directly? I just searched for and installed this VST<http://www.dskmusic.com/?wp_ct=8>. It is very nice. -Tres On Sun, Feb 17, 2013 at 11:13 AM, Nick Humphrey <nic...@gm...>wrote: > Just published 47 chord loop samples for the "G blues with leading tone" > scale <http://ccmixter.org/files/nickleus/41311> using the VST plugin > "DSK Strings"' "Cello Section M" setting in LMMS. > > ..If anyone would like to use them :) > > -- > Check out my music and let me know if you like any of it: > https://soundcloud.com/nickleus > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel - in partnership with Geeknet, > is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly > thought > leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials, tech docs, > whitepapers, evaluation guides, and opinion stories. well, people who just want a couple of chords to sample for a track wouldn't need to download, install and configure the vst plugin... 2013/2/18 Tres Finocchiaro <tre...@gm...> > Thanks Nick. > > What are the main benefits in using your sample pack rather than using the > VST directly? > > I just searched for and installed this VST<http://www.dskmusic.com/?wp_ct=8>. > It is very nice. > > -Tres > > On Sun, Feb 17, 2013 at 11:13 AM, Nick Humphrey <nic...@gm... > > wrote: > >> Just published 47 chord loop samples for the "G blues with leading tone" >> scale <http://ccmixter.org/files/nickleus/41311> using the VST plugin >> "DSK Strings"' "Cello Section M" setting in LMMS. >> >> ..If anyone would like to use them :) >> >> -- >> Check out my music and let me know if you like any of it: >> https://soundcloud.com/nickleus >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel - in partnership with Geeknet, >> is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly >> thought >> leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials, tech docs, >> whitepapers, evaluation guides, and opinion stories. Last I did this it was after trying multiple free SF2 creators. Can't remember which we used. No tutorial yet, but I'll let you know if I come across one as well as the software that worked. Warning, may require wine :) -Tres On Feb 18, 2013 3:57 AM, "Nick Humphrey" <nic...@gm...> wrote: > do you have a guide for doing that? that would be fun :) > > > 2013/2/18 Tres Finocchiaro <tre...@gm...> > >> >> >> On Sun, Feb 17, 2013 at 7:41 PM, Tres Finocchiaro < >> tre...@gm...> wrote: >> >>> Thanks Nick. >>> >>> What are the main benefits in using your sample pack rather than using >>> the VST directly? >>> >>> I just searched for and installed this VST<http://www.dskmusic.com/?wp_ct=8>. >>> It is very nice. >>> >>> >> Furthermore, you may find it helpful to compile many samples such as >> these into a SoundFont2 file, if that is an option >> (although increasingly time consuming). >> >> -Tres >> >> -- >> - Tre...@gm... > > > > > -- > Check out my music and let me know if you like any of it: > https://soundcloud.com/nickleus > |
