Personally, I think this is opening up a whole raft of problems we don't need.
~ We already have many programs to record audio in Linux, and they can do all
the cropping, noise reduction, effects and audio levelling processing that one
inevitably does with recorded audio. I think it would be making lots more
problems for the developers and would probably still not work as well as the
